Introduction

The Public Communication Lab (PCL)

is a research laboratory in the Department of Advertising and Public Relations at Hanyang University that focuses on public issues in South Korea through various theoretical approaches in the fields of Public Communication/Public Campaign, Policy PR, Government PR, Social Media Campaigns, and Environmental Communication.

Through active discussions and studies with graduate students who are interested in various public issues such as carbon neutrality, generational conflict, and online activism, we aim to establish and develop theoretical frameworks for problematic phenomena in our society.
